POSITION SUMMARY:
The HIPPA and Safety Auditor will leverage and enhance audit tools to report deficiencies and improve the safety and privacy program that sets the standard for GLOM.
Job Type: Full Time
Pay: $27.56 – 33.50
Work Location: Stockton
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Establish and implement policies and procedures to comply with HIPPA, and amend them as necessary to comply with changes in the law
- Support the development of OHS policies and programs.
- Conduct risk assessment and enforce preventative measures.
- Oversee installations, maintenance, disposal of substances ect.
- Identify and correct potential hazards or safety violations.
- Record and investigate incidents to determine cause
- Manage workers comp.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Experience working in the adult residential care industry preferred.
- Excellent writing skills
- Technological awareness
- Attention to detail
- MS Office Suit proficiency
- Ability to work independently • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively work with individuals and groups.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitak
- Possess strong interpersonal leadership, analytic, and problem-solving skills.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to climb stairs multiple times a day and be able to lift and/or carry up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to sit, rise, kneel, squat, twist, pull bend multiple times a day.
- Ability to walk with items in hand, grasp and reach as needed.
- Ability to perform with repetitive maneuvers and manual dexterity.
- Ability to work in an office environment.
