POSITION SUMMARY:
The Payroll specialist is responsible for maintaining and supporting the payroll processes.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,304- $76,030.50
Work Location: Livermore
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Calculate wages, benefits, tax deductions, bonuses, etc.
- Collects timesheet data and payroll information.
- Manage all deductions and garnishments.
- Prepares and processes paychecks and cash deposits.
- Troubleshoot and respond to payroll-related inquiries and resolving concerns.
- Performs account balance and payroll reconciliations.
- Collaborate with Human Resources (HR) and accounting teams.
- Stay up-to-date with labor law regulations.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of multi-state payroll processing experience.
- 3+ years of ADP WFN experience required.
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, or related field preferred.
- Strong knowledge in current labor laws.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Experience working with accounting and payroll software.
- Detailed-oriented.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- MS Office Suit proficiency: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to walk or stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to travel and work in an office environment.
- Ability to climb stairs multiple times a day and be able to list and/or carry up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to sit, rise, kneel, squat, twist, pull, bend multiple times a day.
- Ability to perform with repetitive maneuvers and manual dexterity.
