POSITION SUMMARY:
The Service Advisor will be responsible for managing the maintenance and service of commercial vehicles, developing processes and Standard Operational Procedures to ensure a better internal/external workflow process.
Job Type: Full Time
Pay: $85,000 – $95,000
Work Location: Livermore
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Managing the maintenance scheduling workflow for all commercial vehicles to ensure operational efficiency
- Maintaining detailed records of vehicle servicing and inspection
- Consulting with repair shops about needed repairs and alternatives that can be offered in place of expensive repairs
- Managing potential cost savings and warranty protections.
- Managing existing and new vendor contracts
- Managing registration process for all commercial vehicles and ensure insurance documents are updated timely.
- Track all maintenance repairs using Fleetio software program
- Developing and implementing policies and procedures for vehicle use and maintenance
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma
- Minimum of two years as Service Advisor
- Excellent time management experience
- Strong organizational, problem solving and analytical skills
- Excellent customer service
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Excellent presentation skills
- Ability to work with all levels of management
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Ability to manage priorities and workflow
- Ability to work independently and with cross functional teams
- Proficient on Microsoft Office and Excel
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Good judgement with the ability to make timely and sound decisions
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Travel as needed 5-10%
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to climb stairs multiple times a day and be able to lift and/or carry up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to sit, rise, kneel, squat, twist, pull bend multiple times a day.
- Ability to walk with items in hand, grasp and reach as needed.
- Ability to perform with repetitive maneuvers and manual dexterity.
- Ability to work in an office environment
