POSITION SUMMARY:

The Service Advisor will be responsible for managing the maintenance and service of commercial vehicles, developing processes and Standard Operational Procedures to ensure a better internal/external workflow process.

Job Type: Full Time

Pay: $85,000 – $95,000

Work Location: Livermore


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Managing the maintenance scheduling workflow for all commercial vehicles to ensure operational efficiency
  • Maintaining detailed records of vehicle servicing and inspection
  • Consulting with repair shops about needed repairs and alternatives that can be offered in place of expensive repairs
  • Managing potential cost savings and warranty protections.
  • Managing existing and new vendor contracts
  • Managing registration process for all commercial vehicles and ensure insurance documents are updated timely.
  • Track all maintenance repairs using Fleetio software program
  • Developing and implementing policies and procedures for vehicle use and maintenance


QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma
  • Minimum of two years as Service Advisor
  • Excellent time management experience
  • Strong organizational, problem solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent customer service
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Ability to work with all levels of management
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage priorities and workflow
  • Ability to work independently and with cross functional teams
  • Proficient on Microsoft Office and Excel
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Good judgement with the ability to make timely and sound decisions
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Travel as needed 5-10%


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to climb stairs multiple times a day and be able to lift and/or carry up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to sit, rise, kneel, squat, twist, pull bend multiple times a day.
  • Ability to walk with items in hand, grasp and reach as needed.
  • Ability to perform with repetitive maneuvers and manual dexterity.
  • Ability to work in an office environment
