POSITION SUMMARY

The System Administrator will be responsible for managing and maintaining the company’s IT infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security, and availability of all IT systems and services. This role will routinely travel between GLOM locations as required, service area spans Livermore, Stockton, Lodi, Galt, Merced, and Patterson; areas are subject to change.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $92,000-111,000

Position Status: Exempt

Work Location: San Joaquin

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, software applications, and system management tools.
  • Monitor and maintain IT systems and networks to ensure optimal performance and uptime.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
  • Install, configure, and maintain basic network deployments across houses and facilities.
  • Support network changes and maintenance.
  • Implement and manage security measures to protect IT systems and data from unauthorized access, malware, and other threats.
  • Perform regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.
  • Support development, implementation, and adherence of compliance with security policies and procedures.
  • Provide tier2 technical support to end-users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
  • Resolve technical problems promptly and effectively.
  • Plan and execute system upgrades and maintenance activities to ensure systems are up-to-date and secure.
  • Monitor system performance and implement optimizations as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures.
  • Generate regular reports on system performance, security incidents, and other relevant metrics.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • Minimum of 3 years related experience or equivalent.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with superior level of professionalism. • Travel occasionally through-out regions required.
  • • Ability to work independently and be self-motivated, in an ambiguous environment.
  • • Highly organized and detail oriented; able to manage priorities and workflow in a fast-paced environment.
  • • Lead by example, ability to work with junior staff to support growth.
  • • Comfortable in a start-up style environment, ability to implement structure in areas lacking.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to climb stairs multiple times a day and be able to lift and/or carry up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to sit, rise, kneel, squat, twist, pull bend multiple times a day.
  • Ability to walk with items in hand, grasp and reach as needed.
