POSITION SUMMARY:

The training coordinator works closely with the Vice President of Operations to ensure the scheduling, planning, and implementation of all GLOM and County required trainings are completed for employees.

Job Type: Full Time

Starting Pay: $90,000

Work Location: Livermore

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct all new hire trainings.
  • Keep all training materials updated in training binders or on training slides.
  • Identify the training needs of employees and the organization to align with strategic goals and objectives.
  • Develop training programs including lesson plans, materials and methods.
  • Facilitate training sessions in-person to ensure an engaging and effective learning experience.
  • Assess the effectiveness of training programs and make adjustments as needed to improve outcomes.
  • Communicate training opportunities to management and collaborate on solution based outcomes.
  • All other duties as assigned by the VP of operations.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, education, or related field preferred
  • High school diploma
  • Two years of experience in training, facilitation, or related roles
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Ability to flex hours as needed
  • Travel occasionally required
  • One (1) year of mental health experience preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and be self-motivated, in and often-ambiguous environment.
  • Must be able to carry out additional duties and responsibilities as assigned • Ability to work independently and be self-motivated.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively work with individuals and groups.
  • Highly organized and detail oriented, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Possess strong interpersonal leadership, analytic, and problem-solving skills.
  • MS Office Suite proficiency: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to climb stairs multiple times a day and be able to lift and/or carry up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to sit, rise, kneel, squat, twist, pull bend multiple times a day.
  • Ability to walk with items in hand, grasp and reach as needed.
  • Ability to perform with repetitive maneuvers and manual dexterity.
  • Ability to work in an office environment.
